Terms of Service

The rules for using Salonoid’s booking, scheduling, and payments platform — for salon owners, team members, and clients.

Effective date: July 20, 2026

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Salonoid’s websites, applications, booking widgets, and related services (the "Services"). By creating an account, accessing the Services, or clicking to accept these Terms, you agree to be bound by them.

If you use the Services on behalf of a salon, barber shop, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes that organization.

2. The Salonoid platform

Salonoid provides software for beauty salons and barber shops to manage online booking, team and chair scheduling, client intake, and payments. The Services include marketing pages on salonoid.com and the product experience on app.salonoid.com, as well as embeddable booking experiences.

Salonoid is a technology platform. Unless we expressly state otherwise, Salonoid does not provide hair, beauty, or barbering services. Appointments, service quality, pricing for salon services, cancellations, no-shows, refunds for services, and client care are between the salon or barber shop and its clients.

3. Accounts and roles

You may use the Services in different capacities, including as a business owner, provider/team member, or customer. You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Organization owners and admins control teammate access, services, schedules, booking settings, and client data within their workspace. Providers must follow their organization’s policies. Customers who book through Salonoid or a salon’s widget must provide accurate contact details for confirmations and intake.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that are inaccurate, insecure, abusive, or that violate these Terms.

4. Eligibility

You must be legally able to enter a binding contract to use the Services. Business users must have authority to operate the salon or barber shop account they create. The Services are not directed to children under 13.

5. Platform subscriptions and seats

Paid plans, trials, seat counts, and billing intervals are described on our pricing pages and in your billing settings. Subscriptions for Salonoid platform access are billed through Stripe Billing.

Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly offered by Salonoid. Seat additions and plan changes may be prorated according to Stripe and our billing configuration. You authorize Salonoid and Stripe to charge the payment method on file for recurring fees, taxes, and amounts you incur.

Failure to pay may result in suspension or loss of access to paid features. You remain responsible for unpaid amounts.

6. Client payments via Stripe Connect

Salon businesses may enable client payments through Stripe Connect. Funds for salon services are paid to the connected business account according to Stripe’s terms and the business’s configuration. Salonoid may facilitate the technical checkout experience but is not the seller of the underlying beauty or barber services.

Chargebacks, refunds, and disputes for salon services are primarily between the client, the salon business, and Stripe. Salonoid may assist with platform records but does not guarantee recovery of funds.

You agree to Stripe’s applicable terms when you onboard to Connect or complete a payment.

7. Bookings, intake forms, and communications

Booking availability depends on schedules, services, and settings configured by each organization. Salonoid does not guarantee that a particular stylist, barber, chair, or time slot will remain available, or that a salon will honor every booking outside the platform’s technical confirmation.

Intake forms and client questionnaires are configured by the salon. Organizations are responsible for the questions they ask and for using responses lawfully.

Transactional emails (invitations, confirmations, intake links, billing notices) are part of operating the Services. You consent to receive these messages when you use the relevant features.

8. Booking widgets and public embeds

If you embed our booking widget or share booking links, you must do so only for your legitimate business, without misrepresenting affiliation with Salonoid, and without interfering with security or branding requirements we publish. You must not use embeds to scrape, spam, or circumvent access controls.

We may rate-limit, suspend, or revoke widget access that harms platform stability or violates these Terms.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Violate laws, regulations, or others’ rights (including privacy, publicity, and intellectual property).
  • Upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, probe or disrupt the Services, or reverse engineer the platform except where permitted by law.
  • Use the Services to send spam, phishing, or deceptive communications.
  • Collect or process client data without a lawful basis, or for purposes unrelated to operating your salon or barber shop bookings.
  • Impersonate others, create fake bookings, manipulate availability to harm competitors, or abuse trials and promotions.
  • Resell or white-label the Services except under a separate written agreement with Salonoid.

10. Your content and client data

You retain ownership of content and data you submit to the Services (including business profiles, schedules, and client records you control). You grant Salonoid a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, display, and back up that content solely to provide and improve the Services, prevent abuse, and comply with law.

You represent that you have all rights and consents needed to submit content and client data. Organizations are responsible for their teammates’ use of client information.

You may export or request deletion of data subject to our Privacy Policy, technical limitations, and legal retention requirements.

11. Salonoid intellectual property

The Services, including software, design, trademarks, and documentation, are owned by Salonoid and its licensors. Except for the limited right to use the Services under these Terms, no rights are granted. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the platform except as allowed by law or written permission.

12. Third-party services

The Services integrate with third parties such as Stripe for payments and email providers for transactional messages. Your use of those services may be subject to their terms. Salonoid is not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, or acts outside our reasonable control.

13. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SALONOID DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that bookings, notifications, or payments will always succeed. Salon service outcomes are the responsibility of the salon or barber shop providing them.

14. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SALONOID AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SALONOID’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO SALONOID FOR PLATFORM SUBSCRIPTION FEES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (such as certain liability for fraud or personal injury).

15. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Salonoid and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Services; (b) your salon’s services, bookings, client relationships, or payment disputes; (c) your content or client data; (d) your violation of these Terms or law; or (e) disputes between you and your clients or teammates.

16. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Services at any time and may cancel a paid subscription according to the cancellation options in billing settings or by contacting support.

We may suspend or terminate access immediately if you breach these Terms, create risk for other users or the platform, fail to pay fees, or if we discontinue the Services. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends. Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnity) will survive.

17. Changes to the Services and Terms

We may modify the Services and these Terms. We will post updated Terms on this page and update the effective date. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-product notice. If you continue using the Services after changes take effect, you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Services and cancel any paid subscription.

18. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence may still apply where they cannot be waived.

Before filing a claim, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us. If we cannot resolve it within thirty (30) days, either party may pursue dispute resolution in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Nothing in this section limits either party’s right to seek injunctive relief for misuse of intellectual property or unauthorized access to the Services.

19. General

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any plan-specific terms presented at purchase, are the entire agreement between you and Salonoid regarding the Services. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Notices may be sent to your account email or posted in the Services.
